MEMBERSHIP
FEES
Annual
Membership fees shall be determined from time to time by the proprietor.
2010 Annual Fees will be R120.00 per person (non-refundable)
Membership is not transferable.
The above fee entitles you to
the following:
Membership to Tuesday / Thursday Bridge Club sessions
Affiliation
to the SABF
Inclusion in Club Log
Inclusion on the Seating List.

PRIZES

The
prize is R160.00 per session to be shared by the winning pair
In
the event of a "tie" for the winning position, the prize money will be
shared amongst all the winners
CONDUCT A friendly, courteous and cordial attitude towards each other at all times.
ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY is to be adhered to.
INFRACTIONS Must be referred to the Tournament Director at the time of play. If a player accepts the decision of
another player and then lodges a complaint with either the Tournament Director or Tournament Organiser afterwards,
it is too late.
SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted in the Club House.
You are welcome to smoke outside.
HYGENE Management of the club requests that you use the bins provided for rubbish. The Club House facilities are
clean when you arrive in the morning, and do please leave it that way when you depart.
CELLULAR PHONES to be disconnected before the commencement of play. For any urgent calls expected, please
kindly inform the TD.
SEATING - is allocated according to your own personal points on the Log, added to that of your partner and averaged.
PAIRS CLUB METHOD. Tuesday sessions run on the "Swipe Card" system. (i e. Bridge-mate).
Thursday sessions run on a pre-seated basis and the facilities of the Swipe Card system are not in place, therefore
member's should be booking in with the Tournament Organiser in order to be seated. If you know you are going to
miss a session, the Tournament Organiser needs notice from you to re-adjust the seating. This enables the seating
allocation to be effectively calculated and ensure everyone is seated correctly.
The tournament then runs efficiently and timeously. If you do not notify the Tournament Organiser of your return,
you are seated incorrectly.
SESSIONS. Held twice a week, Tuesday and Thursday mornings, except for public and religious holidays.
